Whether you are looking for a pregnancy massage, a massage to relieve some pain, tension or just to relax we have a massage therapist for you.

Sport Massage

Sport Massage Therapy is the management and rehabilitation of soft tissues of the body including muscles, tendons, and ligaments. It is applicable not just to sports people but to anybody wishing to guard against or recover from a soft tissue injury.

The techniques used by soft tissue therapists have been developed to ensure effective and efficient results are gained from each massage given. Soft Tissue Therapy may:

  • Improve circulation and lymphatic flow

  • Assist in the removal of metabolic waste

  • Sedate or stimulate nerve endings

  • Increase or decrease muscle tone

  • Increase or decrease muscle length

  • Remodel scar tissue when required

  • Assist in mental preparation for sporting participation

You do not need to be a sports performer to benefit from massage. The benefits above can also help relieve the many day to day problems, repetitive strain injury, sprains, tension, fatigue, that everyone experiences.

Lymphatic Drainage Massage

Lymphatic drainage is an advanced therapy in which the practitioner uses a range of effleurage and petrissage as well as gentle rhythmic pumping techniques to move the skin in the direction of the lymph flow. This stimulates the lymphatic vessels that carry substances vital to the defend our body as well as help in the removal of waste products and toxins.

Anti-cellulite massage

Anti cellulite massage is designed to reduce and attack cellulite over a period of continued therapy. A special massage technique is used to massage the bulging fat and to knead the muscles and “roll” the bulging fat away thereby combating the physical cause of cellulite – bulging fat and stretched collagen fibers.

Pregnancy Massage

Massage therapy during pregnancy has been shown to provide many benefits, including a sense of wellness, improved relaxation, and better sleep.
Is it safe? Generally speaking, yes, but we would advise to avoid doing it in a first trimester.
